Gabrielle Gibbs found Design House via a google search on the internet and after an initial discussion and some information emailed she felt the Business Starter Package would be just the thing to get her beauty business off the ground.
This consists of a logo design, 1,000 business cards plus a three page website. We worked closely together in a timely fashion to create her unique modern and professional brand.

Enrique Salomao our local Zumba Fitness Instructor on the Fraser Coast came to Design House after I handed him my business card at class one day.

Immediately impressed with the use of an image and the full colour plus matt celloglaze finish he was sold on the idea of something similar.

We then worked together to create a new professional business card design to promote his fun Zumba Fitness business plus his self promotion at the World’s largest Zumba Fitness Convention soon in the USA.

Tayco Outdoor Advertising utilised the services of Design House to create a striking billboard creative for their client Bundy Thunder.
Bundy Thunder was so impressed with the creative they purchased copyright ownership of the artwork so that they could then use the new modern look to promote their event in different advertising and print mediums.

The Wide Bay Australia Bundy Thunder is Queensland’s biggest power boat race meeting. It incorporates 2 days of Australia’s best racing, lunchtime water displays, and ancillary events of the Wide Bay Australia Ambassador Quest, Gala Pre-Race Party, and Official Welcome to the City, Display of Boats and Drivers Meet ‘n Greet with a static display of competing boats at the club, during which fans can mingle with drivers and team members, check out the boats, engineering and paint jobs … click here to learn more.

Wide Bay Sexual Assault Support Services are getting the message out there this weekend with the use of their display stand created by Design House – “Drink Spike Alert ahead of Pub Crawl!”

IT CAN happen in an instant but lead to a lifetime of pain.

Drink-spiking is common and women attending the World’s Greatest Pub Fest on Sunday are urged to beware and take care so the crawl remains a safe and happy experience.

Counsellors from the Wide Bay Sexual Assault Support Service visited every participating crawl pub this week to distribute coasters, brochures and wrist bands warning of the dangers and advising people how to stay safe. … click here to learn more (image & info from The Fraser Coast Chronicle).

Design House has sponsored the signage artwork design requirements (valued at  $1,000 +) for the Cane to Coral Fun Run inaugural 15km run to be held in Bundaberg.

Landoway Outdoor in Bundaberg approached Design House seeking a major rebrand as they have renamed their existing company to JAM Outdoor.
Being one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in Queensland with over 350 + billboards we developed a website so that potential clients could not only view JAM’s professionalism but the location of their sites statewide.

We started with a logo design and carried that through into business cards, letterheads, with comp slips & finally the website development.

Design House has enjoyed a successful business relationship with JAM Outdoor by designing billboard creative’s for their clients for the past two years.

Our company has just undergone a major rebranding from Landoway Pty Ltd to JAM Outdoor.  As a large regional Queensland billboard company, we felt our growth and professionalism required a memorable and contemporary name to match our ethos.  This has not been a simple process, as all our communications required a name change along with our new logo and colours.  We have also used the opportunity to launch a new website, JAM Outdoor.com.au.  Design House have managed the process, navigating across all areas involved, ensuring that we keep on track by following the process through to completion. It is not an easy journey to change your name when you are presenting your company across different mediums each having their own issues in presentation.  What stands out on a website compared to the tag on a billboard is very different.  Jeanette has been very flexible and responsive to our specific requirements producing what we believe is a simple and effective logo which is now integrated across all our communication channels. Our website is eye-catching and interactive providing our customers with intuitive navigation that shows all our available sites. This is no mean feat considering the volume of information on all our sites. Now our customers can quickly see photos of available sites in their areas along with tips and examples of signs that have been designed and are successful for our customers.

Have you spotted us yet?

One of my preferred forms of advertising is Outdoor Advertising or commonly called Billboards!

Why pay $500 for a small ad in a paper that gets thrown out that day and maybe not even noticed with all the others. You can pay that per month (or alot less depending on the area) and have a billboard in potential clients faces, everyday, drumming in your brand or call to action.

Depending on your type of business I find billboard advertising is an extremely cost effective way to get your message across to a large number of your target market on a daily basis as long as you have an the right creative.
I prefer simple but effective!

Our latest sign (9km outside Gympie) is viewed by 8,700+ passing vehicles per day travelling to Brisbane…. It will be interesting to gauge the response.

Congratulations to new ecoBiz Partners! ecoBiz would like to introduce Design House, our newest ecoBiz Partner. Design House have submitted their first re-assessment and achieved financial rewards through improving their eco-efficiency. Savings of ecoBiz partners to date stands at GHG savings of 21,600 tonnes and 294 megalitres of water annually! Design House Design House are a graphic and web design company. Their eco-efficiency actions have included improved thermostat settings, the use of protective film on windows and environmentally aware behaviour in the office. This has led to an annual GHG reduction of 1.1 tonnes (CO2-e). A reduction in paper use has decreased office waste by 11 cubic metres per year.
